WOMAN OF EXCELLENCE IN BUSINESS:
This woman needs to be thriving in corporate Britain or as head of her own company, making or having made a significant contribution to the success of their organisation / business. Note: this category is open to employees of both public and privately owned companies or the CEO.

ENTREPRENEURIAL / START UPWOMAN OF EXCELLENCE:
This award is for anyone who has set up their own businesses; individuals who have the entrepreneurial sprit; who has taken risk and are making a success of it. Her registered company must be at least 2 years old.

HUMANITARIAN WOMAN OF EXCELLENCE:
This woman needs to be involved in social and humanitarian work; from individuals working for non profit-making organisations or in the corporate world contributing to the voluntary sector.

COMMUNITY WOMAN OF EXCELLENCE:
This award goes to a woman who has worked tirelessly in the community on ground level. You could be a foster carer extraordinaire or someone who has campaigned to make a change / difference in the community.

WOMAN OF EXCELLENCE IN MEDIA:
Whether in print, radio & television broadcast or via electronic media, this award acknowledges women working in the areas of media. From journalism operating in the public eye to production and technical operatives. So long as they have made a significant contribution to the success of the media company they work for and are helping others, they are eligible.

YOUNG INTERNATIONAL WOMAN OF EXCELLENCE:
Have you done something incredible, inspirational or are you simply the best at what you do and you’re passing it on? If you are between 16-25 years of age you can be a considered a candidate for this award.

INTERNATIONAL WOMAN OF EXCELLENCE IN ARTS & ENTERTAINMENT:
This award is open to women making a mark in the world of performing arts, management of the arts or creative writing. Basically those ON stage and those behind the scenes.

CREATIVE WOMAN OF EXCELLENCE (FASHION / GRAPHICS / BEAUTY INDUSTRY:
Have you broken through into this industry and made your mark? This award is for women who work in the background to make front liners look great! And she guides youngsters into how to continue doing so.

WOMAN OF EXCELLENCE IN EDUCATION / RESEARCH / TECHNOLOGY:
She continues to excel in her field but does not keep her knowledge to herself. She shares it was the next one in line. She educates.

GLOBAL WOMAN OF THE YEAR:
This person’s reach been further than the UK. She has done something that has affected the life / lives of others abroad or is known for what she has done or is doing across the waters.

VICTORIOUS WOMAN OF EXCELLENCE:
She has overcome trials to get where she is today. She has a story worth telling. If she has been through the hell and back, had to climb mountains; smash down barriers or dealt with situations that may have cowed most people and have come out on top, then she is a victorious woman.

POSTHUMOUS INTERNATIONAL WOMEN OF EXCELLENCE AWARD:
Lest we forget. This award is for someone who has impacted on the lives of many but although she is no longer with us her work lives on. She must never be forgotten.
